Sketches, Drawing, models and Fashion Design

Hello!

I wont be posting regularly because of school but, I have an app called 'polyvore'

I have linked my blogger to my Polyvore account so every time I make an outfit/ Set it sends to my blogger account.

So I aspire to be a Fashion Designer when I am older. ~ Although I have many other jobs, I have been working on Fashion Design the most.

I have been working on a Portfolio. With my designs which I am still working on of course.

Do you want to be a Fashion Designer?

Here are a few tips to get you started...

~ Make a list on your phone or some paper from any inspiration you find. Keep this with you whenever you go out. Keep it in your bag. { Buy a special book }

Eg. If you see cars, it might inspire you to make a Car t-shirt.
Jotting down your ideas is very handy, you will be keeping track of your ideas. Whenever Inspiration strikes!

~ Get a fancy sketch book to keep your sketches in. This is now your Portfolio. Draw all your ideas in here! Come up with names for your sketches.

Eg. If you have come up with a range of your favourite cartoons on shirts {ect.} You could call it 'Cartoon Crazy!'

~ Cant draw? Do a Fashion Design course or search blogs or images for how to draw models.

~ Need more inspiration? Look at blogs, get magazines. Another great example is Hayden Williams. He is an amazing British Fashion Illustrator and Designer. He makes beautiful work. Follow his Instagram! @Hayden_Williams
